Denise Cardenas Bio

deniseDenise Cardenas teaches Tap, Ballet, and Jazz Dance. She has a BA degree in Dance from Butler University and an MBA from the University of Sarasota.  Some of her credits include performances at the Booth Tarkington Civic Theatre in “George M”, “How to Succeed in Business”, “You’re a Good Man Charlie Brown”, and “Damn Yankees”.  While a member of the Butler University Ballet Company she performed in the “Nutcracker”, “Cinderella”, “La Bayadere“, and “Afternoon of a Faun”, to name a few.   She has won Regional, State, and National first place awards in competitions in New York and Las Vegas.  She has taught at various Dance Studios in Kentucky and Indiana, and is happy to currently be on staff at Indy Dance Academy.  Her true passion is teaching children and adults; she feels that not only does dance and movement develop physical aspects, but it also encompasses, the mental, spiritual, and educational talents we all possess.
